8 months of feeding a Spider

Can a a spider be a pet? Can he be your buddy or friend? Can he be that late night drinking pal you need sometimes when you’re wife is out of town for 10 weeks.  I'm not talking about the kind of furry, toy-like tarantulas people buy as pets and keep them in cages and let them crawl around on their hands and pass them around to others, all the the squeals and delight of the uninitiated.

I’ve had a spider living in the corner of my bathroom for seven months. There’s nothing for him to eat in there so I’ve been feeding him for most of the time he’s been there.
